Spartans slay Raiders in golf

SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High varsity boys golf team scored a definitive win in their final outing of the regular season, bringing home a 119-91 victory against the Nathan Hale Raiders.

The win brought the team’s overall season record to 10-1; the Spartans’ only loss having come against Lakeside Friday, Oct. 2.

Serial Spartan star Sam Warkentin was the medalist of the match, with a final score of 36 (27 points).

The BHS squad finished the season ranked second out of the 16 teams in the Metro standings, behind only Roosevelt (11-0).
