The Best Western Plus Bainbridge Island Suites has been recognized with the M.K. Guertin Award, the hotel chain’s highest honor.
The award was presented during Best Western International’s annual convention in San Antonio, Texas in front of more than 2,100 industry peers.
The Bainbridge Island hotel also recently received the Chairman’s Award, the hotel chain’s highest honor for outstanding quality standards.
The prestigious M.K. Guertin Awards is bestowed upon those member properties that have represented the vision of Best Western’s founder and best demonstrated exceptional levels of service, quality, value and commitment to the brand.
To earn the Chairman’s Award, the hotel must receive a cleanliness and maintenance inspection score in the top 5 percent of more than 2,100 North American properties.
The hotels must also meet quality standards and other membership requirements to qualify for each award.
The Best Western Plus Bainbridge Island Suites was one of only 35 hotels out of more than 2,400 properties in the U.S. and Canada to receive the M.K. Guertin Award in 2013.
