Port Madison remembered at special program Saturday

The Bainbridge Island Historical Museum is hosting “Lives and Lies of Port Madison,” a celebration of the colorful history of Port Madison, on Saturday, Aug. 27.
Historic mill town tours, music, wine and appetizers will be followed by a catered buffet, stories of the old-timers and an auction. The fundraising event will be on the grounds of the 1856 Comstock house, the oldest residence in Kitsap County.
