Gear Grinders host Grand Forest ride

BAINBRIDGE – Two wheels are better than four.

Girls in grades six through 12, grab a bike and a parent for the Gear Grinders’ Meet the League Ride at Prue’s House (Grand Forest Hilltop) at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30. Cruise alongside coaches and female riders from the middle school and high school level mountain bike teams, and see if Gear Grinders is something you might want to be a part of. All participants will need a league waiver signed by a parent, available at www.geargrinders.org.

Training for the team’s 2016 season began earlier this month; races run from the end of March to mid-May. Rides are designed to build skills, fitness, strength and endurance through a variety of drills and terrains.
