BHS bested 51-33 by Lakeside Lions

SEATTLE – The Spartans were outscored in every single quarter of the game against Lakeside High on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

The final score saw the Bainbridge High varsity girls basketball team down 51-31.

In the first, the Spartans trailed 11-9, a pattern which only worsened in the second quarter (14-7).

Entering the second half down 25-16, the Spartans were again outpaced by the Lions, 8-4.

Though BHS managed a slight comeback in the fourth (only being outscored 18-13), it was not enough to tame the Lions.

Katie Usellis led the Spartans, and finished with 12 points.

Fellow Spartans Taylor Tye managed six points, Carly Lant put up five and Makaila Deen chipped in four.
