Bainbridge Island couple ties the knot

Nora Ferm and Stuart Nickum were married in a small outdoor ceremony on June 27, 2015, at Restoration Point on Bainbridge Island.

Nora, daughter of Mary and Dan Ferm, is a 1998 graduate of Bainbridge High School. Stuart, son of Peg and Nick Nickum, is a 1996 graduate of BHS and a third-generation islander.

The couple met while both were working in Washington, D.C., thanks to the encouragement of Jacquie Savo, also a Bainbridge Island resident. They moved from the nation’s capital to Seattle in fall 2014.

Nora and Stuart honeymooned in Glacier Bay, Alaska.
