The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office has two new K-9s joining the department with the plan to have them on patrol by December.

K-9s Milo and Echo will team with their new partners, deputies Zach Schendel and Will Jenkins, a KCSO news release states. Milo is a 19-month-old black German Shepherd from Rochester, and Echo is a 2-year-old Black Sable German Shepherd born in Denmark and imported to Canada.

Schendel and Jenkins have spent the last several weeks working with Blue Line K9. Milo and Echo are scheduled to join KCSO’s K-9 class in September.
