The Bainbridge Island City Council will discuss the proposed 2015-2016 preliminary budget at this week’s meeting.
City staff will bring forward an adjusted proposal to include recently-approved changes and additions to the budget.
On the list of changes the council has approved are:
The addition of $300,000 to the Annual Roads Program in 2015 to reflect Transportation Benefit District funding;
plans for design and construction of the Waterfront Park in 2015, rather than 2015 and 2016, with planned spending of $1 million in 2015;
and the addition of $100,000 in 2015 and 2016 for affordable housing.
The city council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays in city hall.
