The new Ted Spearman Justice Center on Bainbridge Island will house the Police Department, Municipal Court and Emergency Management Services.

The grand opening of the Ted Spearman Justice Center on Bainbridge Island will take place starting at noon Nov. 15 at 8804 Madison Ave N.

The center will house the city’s Police Department, Municipal Court and Emergency Management Services.

The ceremony will begin with light refreshments provided.

From 1-3 p.m. the public can go inside the building and receive information on the different areas by volunteer docents, who will be members of the police staff and Bainbridge Prepares Community Emergency Response Team leaders.

At noon Mayor Brenda Fantroy-Johnson, city staff and members of the Spearman family and larger BI community will speak about the facility and Judge Spearman’s legacy.
