Tickets are on sale for the Farm to Table Harvest Supper for the Arts, an evening to celebrate and support this mainstay of the island’s cultural sector.
Presented by Arts & Humanities Bainbridge, the Harvest Supper is planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Boundy Farm.
Organizers note the event will offer something a little different from the galas that longtime supporters of the arts might be used to; guests can leave their dinner jackets at home for this year’s event, which is described as an informal and community-oriented air.
The dinner will by catered by Fig & Spice, a Bainbridge business that aims to use locally sourced, all-natural and organic ingredients to create a truly “farm to table” small plate dining experience.
Lawn games, a wine toss, freshly-pressed cider, and a brief live auction will flesh out the evening’s program. The Fabulous Fenderskirts will provide vintage rock’n’roll music, and a troop of tumbling scarecrows from Olympic Performance Group will entertain and impress guests with their acrobatic antics.
The Harvest Supper will also be an opportunity for AHB to share insights into developments that it will roll out in 2019 and beyond.
Tickets are available at ahbharvestsupper.brownpapertickets.com, at ahbainbridge.org, or by calling 206-842-7901.
