The Buccaneers sank the Spartans as Kingston collected a 3-1 win over the Bainbridge girls varsity volleyball team late last week in Paski Gymnasium.

Kingston won 3-1, rallying after a second set loss, with scores of 25-20, 24-26, 25-16, 25-20.

“It was a tough loss with lots of mental errors from Bainbridge and good aggressive offense from Kingston,” said BHS Coach Dominique Atherley.

Julia Jakubik led the Spartans offensively and defensively with 11 kills and 21 digs.

Paige Bouma also contributed to the offense with 17 assists. She also had two blocks, six digs and one ace.

In earlier action Friday, the Spartans junior varsity volleyball team blanked Kingston 2-0.
