Two upcoming sessions in the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art’s ongoing “Eye on Artist” lecture series promise lively discourse.

First, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 12, BIMA will host a double feature of lectures with current exhibiting artists Marceil DeLacy and Carrie Goller. Come hear them talk about their work, inspiration, methods and materials.

A reception will follow with light food and drink. There is a $5 suggested donation, though students can attend for free.

Second, BIMA will host a lecture/book signing session with current exhibiting artists Jenny Pohlman and Sabrina Knowles at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16.

Come hear them talk about their work, inspiration, methods and materials, followed by signing of the new book in conjunction with their exhibition.

A reception will follow with light food and drink. There is a $5 suggested donation, though students will be admitted without charge.
