Marina Albero Quintet to perform

First Sundays Concerts will welcome the Marina Albero Quintet to Bainbridge Island for its September show.

The next First Sundays Concert is 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9 at Waterfront Park Community Center.

Promoters of the show note that Albero is a master of the piano, psalterium (a Mediterranean hammered dulcimer), vibraphone and composition. Her music is described as a blend of many musical styles, including flamenco, early music, andalusia and latin jazz.

She will be joined in concert by Hans Teuber on sax, clarinet and flute; Evan Flory-Barnes on bas;: D’Vonne Lewis on drums; and Jeff Busch on percussion.
