BHS rocks Bothell 16-4 in LAX win

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge High School varsity boys lacrosse team scored a 16-4 win against the visitors from Bothell Thursday, March 15.

Merritt McMahon led the island team’s scoring efforts, racking up five goals by night’s end.

Carson Byran managed three, Gavin Jakubik scored two, and Jacob Hogger, Charlie Hughes, Penn Maroni, Jaden Mass, Andrew McDonald, Ian Morosoff and Ethan Peloquin each put up one.

In the net, Dawson Friers managed four saves for seven shots in his 24-minute tenure.

Charlie Shrout managed two saves for three shots.

The win at home nudged the team’s overall season record to 2-1. They played their first conference match against Ballard on Tuesday, March 20.
