To the editor:

On behalf of the Bainbridge Ometepe Sister Islands Association, I would like to thank all the people of Bainbridge Island for helping to make our 11 delegates from Ometepe feel so welcomed here on our Island home.

Many thanks to all our home-stay families, activities coordinators, drivers and translators. Special thanks to the following: Mayor Tollefsen and the Farmers Market, Helpline House, Susan Bisnett and the Library, Kristen Tollefsen and Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, MJ Linford and BARN, Suquamish Museum, Jon Kroman and the Seattle Aquarium, fstop Cafe Roastery, Kay Sakai Nakao and Clarence Moriwaki and the Bainbridge Island History Museum, Treehouse Cafe, Brenda Berry, the Marketplace at Pleasant Beach and many teachers and schools.

You have given our friends from Ometepe an experience they will never forget.
