It’s going to be a wet one. Sorry.
That’s the weekend forecast — unfortunately — for Bainbridge Island this weekend.
The National Weather Service’s office in Seattle is predicting a weekend of rain for the island.
The chance of rain is 60 percent on Saturday, Oct. 8.
It is expected to be cloudy Saturday, with a high near 62. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible.
And on Saturday night, the chance of rain continues.
Expect more of the same on Sunday, with the chance of rain rising to 70 percent.
It will stay cloudy, with a high near 63.
Rainfall is expected to total somewhere between a tenth and quarter of an inch during the day, but another half to three quarters of an inch is possible overnight.
A break in the clouds may be coming Monday.
The forecast calls for partly sunny weather, with a high near 64.
