Bainbridge Performing Arts has brought passionate performances to the island for 60 years. Reflect on and celebrate the theater’s creative past during the First Friday Art Walk anniversary party. Mementos from previous decades – photos, set pieces and costumes – will be on be on display as visitors enjoy live music, small bites, and a beer garden. Admission is free. The anniversary celebration doesn’t end there. A special performance by The EDGE Improv including a BPA roast and entertaining, on-the-spot comedy will be 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Come see the esteemed troupe honor the theater with their hilarious hijinks. Tickets here. [bainbridgeperformingarts.org]

Bike around the island before enjoying a slice of freshly baked fruit pie and live music from local gypsy jazz band Ranger and “The Re-Arrangers.” Squeaky Wheels’ annual fundraiser Bike for Pie returns to bring the community together and advocate fun bicycling on Bainbridge. Check-in at Town Square from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The post-ride fun begins at 11 a.m.
