SEATTLE – The tennis season isn’t over for Bainbridge High: The Spartans will move on to districts after both of the varsity team’s top two doubles teams took home medals at the Metro Co-ed Tennis Tournament.

The doubles teams will move on to district play next week, and Spartan Coach Jennifer Shorr said both teams — which won their 3/4 matches — should be seeded at the event.

Sammantha Jiang and Lily Welch prevailed for the Spartans, winning 6-4, 6-4 over Holy Names.

Eli Wagner and Jeremy Lipschutz won in boys doubles 6-2, 6-2 over Garfield High.
