The Amabile Choir presents its spring concert series, “From Sea to Shining Sea,” in mid-May at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church on Wyatt Way.

The concerts are 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 13 and both 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14.

The program will represent a journey across our great nation, celebrating our unique American heritage and our diversity.

All the music is written by American composers, including Randall Thompson, Irving Berlin, Alice Parker and Eric Whitacre. Songs include spirituals, patriotic pieces, several jazz tunes, plus a special poem by Chief Seattle set to music. The choir will also be joined by the Amabile Jazz Band for the concerts.

Tickets are available at Winslow Drug and from Amabile singers; suggested donation is $15.
