Spartans sink South Kitsap in girls water polo

BAINBRIDGE – The Spartans unloaded on South Kitsap earlier this week in girls varsity water polo, declawing the Cougars 19-1 at the Bainbridge Aquatics Center.
Eight Spartans scored in the lopsided contest.
Grace Carson and Alyssa Estes were the offensive wizards for the Spartans, with Carson netting six points and Estes, five.
Kate Eckert and Patri DeSantiago added two goals each for Bainbridge. Teammates Greta Huber, Trudy Rimbault, Emma Gace and Josie Davis each contributed one.
Jessica Lee put up South Kitsap’s only score in Wednesday’s contest.
