Poetry class at BIMA features Lawrence Matsuda

Noted Northwest poet Lawrence Matsuda will discuss his poetry and offer hints for writers to access the creative parts of their brains at a free poetry class from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art.

Attendees are asked to read Dylan Thomas’ villanelle, “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night” and note elements of the form, prior to the class.

The program is co-sponsored by Kitsap Regional Library, Field’s End and the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art.
