Spartans topple Rams in wrestling

SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High varsity wrestling team claimed a 42-30 wrestling win on the road Thursday, Jan. 7 against Ingraham High.
Bainbridge claimed forfeit wins in the 106-, 126-, 182- and 285-pound matches. Double forfeits nullified the 120- and 220-pound matches.
Rachel Longridge pinned Ingraham’s Adriel Liau in 3:43 in the 113-pound bracket.
Clay Wren was pinned by Antoine Combs in 1:39 in the 152-pound match.
Spartan co-captain Aaron Jumpa pinned Joe Lauder in 3:14 for a win in the 160-pound match, and fellow co-captain Hague Bush pinned Damian Spataro in just 14 seconds in the 170-pound match.
