The Bainbridge High boys varsity water polo team will play two home matches this weekend and look to continue their undefeated league streak.

It has been a stellar year for the Spartan squad, led by returning Head Coach Kristin Gellert. Their recent wins brought the team’s season record to 12-1, the only loss so far coming from their 10-9 home match against Puyallup High on Oct. 12.

The Spartans remain undefeated in league matches (9-0).

First, at 4:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, the Spartans will face off against

Newport High at the Bainbridge Aquatic Center. Then, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, the boys will host Kentridge in a rare weekend home match. It’s the perfect chance to ch

eer on the team as they enter the final matches of their stellar season.
