Artist presents class on still lifes

Diane Culhane will lead a class on table top still lifes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 at Hyla Middle School.

Culhane coined the term “Table Top Still Life” to merge the traditional practice of still life painting with the new ways in which still lifes can take on meaning in our contemporary lives.

Her innovative approach will help students transform tradition into something uniquely your own.
