Free solar workshop is Saturday

The solar workshop “A Bright Investment for You and the Planet” will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Bainbridge Island Fire Station on Madison Avenue.

Solar experts from Cascadia Solar will discuss the community and environmental benefits of solar. Find out how islanders can reduce our dependency on fossil fuels by installing a solar system while taking advantage of tax and production incentives to help pay for it.

Attendees will learn if their property is suitable for solar, how it works and how to benefit from this year’s tax and production credits.
