Ometepe night comes to bookstore

The Bainbridge Ometepe Sister Islands Association will host an evening for book groups and interested readers about their program to assist schools in establishing libraries in Ometepe, Nicaragua at Eagle Harbor Books at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23.

There will be a slide show about the program, a talk by some BHS students who have worked on the library projects there, and Ometepe coffee and cookies. The evening is a great chance to learn how to support literacy on Bainbridge’s sister island.
