Help needed at weed-removal work party

Join a child-friendly, dog-friendly community service project removing blackberries (which have just started to re-emerge) at the new and lovely Strawberry Hill Dog Park from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19.

Volunteers should bring gloves if they have them, but there will be extras available, as well as garden tools.
