Bainbridge still perfect in golf

BAINBRIDGE – One for the thumb, that’s what they’ve got.

The Bainbridge varsity boys golf team came out on top for the fifth straight time so far this season, protecting their undefeated record, after scoring a 141-122 win over Lakeside.

Powerhouse player Sam Warkentin again led he team in points, ending the match with an all-around best of 29 points.

Brooks Wallace chipped in 25 points and Colin Campbell managed 24.

Following the win over Lakeside at home, the team hit the road to play against Ingraham at Jackson Park Friday and against Ballard Wednesday.

The Spartans returned home to face off against Garfield Thursday, Oct. 2.
