UPDATE | Ferry Tacoma docks after two-hour delay

The ferry MV Tacoma slowly made its way into Eagle Harbor by 3 p.m. Tuesday with the help of two tugboats.

The ferry was pulled by the tugboat Pacific Knight, while the tugboat Lindsey Foss pushed from the rear.

The Tacoma lost propulsion power just before 1 p.m. Tuesday as it neared Bainbridge Island.

After a two-hour delay, Washington State Ferries announced service on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route resumed with a late 2:05 sailing of the ferry MV Walla Walla from Seattle.

A late 2:55 p.m. departure from Bainbridge to Seattle was also expected, according to WSF.

Ferry officials announced that all passengers aboard the Tacoma will receive refund vouchers upon docking at Bainbridge Island.
