The Review visited Ordway Elementary to talk turkey — and Thanksgiving — with some of the school’s first-graders.

What do you like about Thanksgiving?

“Sometimes my cousins get to come over.”

Do you have like a big Thanksgiving meal?

“We have mashed potatoes and gravy, and we have turkey.”

Do you help with the Thanksgiving meal at all, do you help with the mashed potatoes or anything? Gravy?

“No. I play.”
