Ski Swap is Saturday at Waterfront Park Community Center

The first-ever Bainbridge Island Ski Swap will be on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Waterfront Park Community Center.

Organizers said shoppers can score sweet deals on skis, snowboards, bindings, boots, jackets, fuzzy hats, bunny suits and much more.

Islanders are welcome to come sell old snow sports equipment and find great deals. There is no need to stay: Drop off your equipment, set your price and organizers of the event will help you sell it.

Visitors will also find snow sport vendors with good deals on winter equipment, door prizes, raffles and ski area information.

Part of the sale proceeds — 30 percent — will go to the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District’s ski bus program to get more kids, families and seniors out on the mountains. Donations are welcome.
