Lisa Howard and Dante Martinez exchange vows

Lisa Michelle Howard and Dante Xavier Martinez were wed on Aug. 4, 2012 in Seattle. An outdoor ceremony was held on Pier 66 and friends and family celebrated with a reception at Bell Harbor. The newlyweds honeymooned in Fiji and now reside in Seattle.
The couple met while studying at Washington State University.
The bride, a 2003 graduate of Bainbridge High School, now works as a registered dietitian. She is the daughter of Peter and Judy Howard, longtime island residents. The groom is an IT project lead at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
