Tennis | Bainbridge to face Nathan Hale in league playoffs

Bainbridge finished the regular season 8-1 in league and 10-1 overall, taking the second seed in the Metro’s Mountain Division.

The team will take on Nathan Hale, the top-seeded team from the Sound Division Thursday.

With the victory, the Spartans will advance to play for the Metro League Championship Friday.

The Spartans will compete in the individual Metro tournament Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.

Sasha Carter, who defeated defending 3A state champion Natalie Allen in their last meeting, is 6-1 at the No. 1 singles spot this season.

Grace Porter, went undefeated in league play at No. 2 singles, will pair with Kate Jameson in doubles.

Scott Alderson, who went 2-2 at No. 1 singles, Sam Claney and Jacob Christiansen will compete in singles for the Spartans.
