Spartans eliminated by Meadowdale from state tourney 72-63

Bainbridge shoots 50 percent for game, still lose.

UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON – The Bainbridge girls basketball team had a much better performance than yesterday, but it wasn’t enough as they were eliminated from the 3A state tournament 72-63 by Meadowdale Thursday.

Brittany Gray scored 18 points and had 11 rebounds while Jesse Vincent scored 15 points. Anna Wood added 12 points.

Eryn Jones led all scorers with 25 points on just 6 for 18 from the field but was a perfect 13 for 13 from the line.

Danica Coronacion added 11 while Julia Fjortoft scored ten.

Meadowdale scored 23 points off of 24 Bainbridge turnovers.

The Spartans finish at 19-9
