15 seniors see playing time in the Spartans’ home finale.

The Bainbridge football team did their part defensively from keeping the Seattle Prep offense from passing all over the field in a 21-7 win on Senior Night.

The Spartans struggled to get the running game going, but kicker Colin Feldtman picked up the slack with field goals of 30 yards in the first quarter and 33 yards in the second.

After forcing the Panthers into a three and out, the offense clicked into gear as quarterback Jordan Wagner scored on a two-yard run.

Running back Dayton Gilbreath scored on the two-point conversion.

In the third quarter, running back Ross Cobb scored on a 48-yard run.

Prep quarterback Paul Twining scored with 3:52 left in the game, but Sam Bice picked off a pass with 38 seconds left to close out the game.

The Spartans travel to Bishop Blanchet next Saturday with a playoff berth on the line for both teams.

Game time is at 1 p.m.
