Wins bookend holiday for BHS hoopsters

The Bainbridge High varsity boys basketball got an early and belated Christmas gift last week, earning two consecutive wins on the road in the wake of a three-game losing streak on either side of of the holiday.

First, against Olympic, the Spartans scored a 58-56 win on Thursday, Dec. 27.

Then, on Saturday, Dec. 29, they bested Kingston 64-16.

The island squad returns home to host Chief Sealth at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, following the girls’ game.
