SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High boys varsity basketball team suffered a pair of straight losses on the road late last month, continuing their winless streak thus far this season (0-8).

The Spartans stumbled first against Kingston High and then Monroe.

At Kingston, the Spartans were bested 67-59 in a non-league matchup on Dec. 22.

Next, at Bellevue College against Monroe, the Spartans were barely edged out 48-43 to record their eighth loss on Dec. 28.

The team would play Interlake the very next day, again at Bellevue College.

The unfortunate record left the island squad in last place in the Metro standings.
