Team Ritchie wins Gold Division

What a barn burner.

Team Ritchie defeated Team Swift 42-41 to capture the 2017 Bainbridge/Poulsbo Park and Rec Basketball League championship in the seventh/eighth grade boys Gold Division.

Team members include Nick Hughes, J.R. Ritchie, Kevin Jarreau, Austin Coupland, Kai Francis, Cal Breen, Jack Mielke, Jordan Mass, Tobin Blair, Aidan Fitzgerald.

Bainbridge parks officials gave big thanks to Ian Ritchie and all of its other awesome volunteer basketball coaches for their time and dedication.

Julie Miller, recreation programs manager for the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District, said that without such volunteers, the recreactional basketball league would not happen.
