The Bainbridge Spartans junior varsity and C-Team girls volleyball squads had strong showings at last weekend’s Tacoma-Pierce County Volleyball Officials Invitational.
Both teams had excellent performances, and the Bainbridge JV team won the coveted Sportsmanship Award. The Spartan C-Team finished in second place overall after losing a tight match in the championship round.
Andy Stephens will become the head volleyball coach at Kingston Middle and High School.
