Spartans outlast Rams in overtime

The Spartans prevailed in overtime to win against Wilson 8-7 in girls varsity water polo late last week on the road in Tacoma.

Kristina DuPont was clutch for Bainbridge; she scored five goals in the game.

Also coming up big on the offensive end were Trudy Rimbault, Lila Schroer and Frances Weller. The trio each scored a goal apiece against Wilson.

The Spartans junior varsity team had an easier go of things against WHS. Bainridge routed the Rams 12-1 in the JV matchup.

Six Spartans scored in the game.

Ghenwa Ramadan and Schroer paced the JV scorers with three goals each.

Julia Tlapa and Kylie Jones added two goals each, while Melony Bourgeois and Grace Pratt contributed one goal each.
