Spartans blank Knights 44-0 in prep football

The Bainbridge High School varsity football team breezed to a 44-0 shutout win against the visitors from King’s Way Christian Friday.

It was the island squad’s first win of the year, and nudged their season record to 1-2.

Against the Knights last year, the Spartans were defeated 52-28, undoubtedly adding an extra layer of gratification to Friday’s win.

The Spartans will next play at home at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 against Lakeside.
