Rough Riders halt Spartan postseason hoops rush

SEATTLE – A 52-43 loss ended the Spartan varsity girls basketball season, as the Bainbridge High team was bested by Roosevelt in their second postseason outing Wednesday, Feb. 7 at Ballard High School.

The Rough Riders and Spartans were competing for a spot in the upcoming SeaKing district tournament, to be held at Bellevue College.

The loss left the Spartans with an overall season record of 13-9 (9-6 in conference). They finished the regular season in third place in the Metro standings.
