SEATTLE – The Bainbridge Spartans finished strong but couldn’t cage the Lions late last week in girls varsity volleyball.

Lakeside won at home 3-1, with scores of 25-12, 25-16, 20-25 and 25-21.

“Bainbridge had a slow start but we able to build up some energy to take the third set,” said Bainbridge Coach Dominique Atherley.

The Spartans’ Taylor Jumpa finished with four aces and eight kills, while Erica Sprott had five kills and 26 assists for BHS.
