BAINBRIDGE – The Spartans were stymied by Eastside Catholic in girls varsity volleyball last week, falling 3-0 to the Crusaders in the matchup in Paski Gymnasium.

Bainbridge lost to EC with scores of 17-25, 17-25 and 22-25.

“It was a tough night for the Spartans,” said Spartan Coach Dominique Atherley.

“The passing looked strong but the offense struggled to get into a rhythm. They picked it up in the third set, but fell just short of closing the set,” she said.

Erica Sprott had eight kills and 13 assists for Bainbridge, while teammate Hailey Capps contributed two aces and five kills.
