Casting experts to speak at Bainbridge fishing club’s next meeting

SEABOLD – Bainbridge Island Fly Fishers will gather for an evening of tips from folks who know a thing or two about casting.

The program for the group’s next meeting is “Common casting frustrations and how to fix them — ways to make your fly fishing experience more enjoyable.”

Chris Madison, a certified casting instructor, will be joined for the presentation by Chris Taylor.

There will be a short indoor presentation followed by an outdoor clinic where members and guests will have a chance to practice improving their castings with the support of the club’s presenters.

The next meeting is 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 29 at Seabold Community Hall, 14450 Komedal Road NE.; bring yourself and your fly rod for an evening that promises to help improve your casting skills and have some fun in the process.

Bring a fly or $1 and participate in a raffle to win a nice selection of flies.
