Bainbridge girls beat Ballard 113-98

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge High varsity girls golf team remained undefeated after storming to a 113-98 win against the visitors from Ballard on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

It was a banner day for Bainbridge, Spartan Head Coach Ian Havill said.

“The seniors came through with their best scores of the season,” he said. “Lucy [Hanacek] led all scorers, shooting 30 points.”

Other Spartans were likewise in rare form.

“Anna Kozlosky shot a personal best 26,” the coach said. “Peyton Teran also got a chance to play, and shot her personal best of 18.”

Kendall Havill, Caitlin Slattery and Madison Culp each scored 27 points, and cocaptains Sara Colley and Maddie Loverich each put up 28.

The win over Ballard advanced the Spartans’ overall season record to 7-0.
