Vernon passed away peacefully in his home following a valiant battle with lung cancer. Vernon, a strong man, had a kind soul and loved his family and his farm, living life to its fullest. Vern retired from Poulsbo Volunteer Fire Department and Washington State Ferries. Vernon was loved by all who knew him and will be missed very much.
