Pat Hertrich

May 14, 1921 – June 11, 2016

Patricia “Pat” Davies Hertrich, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at The Madrona House on Bainbridge Island, Washington.

She was born on May 14, 1921 and was 95 years. She had a full and joyful life. Ever the creative artist and crafts person, she will be fondly remembered for her graciousness and sense of style.

She loved entertaining and was a skilled cook. Pat and her husband, Phil, enjoyed traveling after retirement, visiting Great Britain and the New England states among others. A lover of gardens and gardening, taking long drives in the spring to view flowering cherry trees and rhododendron were one of her simple joys.

Pat is survived by her children, Katherine Ketchum of Port Orchard, Washington and Paul J. Hertrich of Honolulu, Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip J. Hertrich, and her son Peter A. Hertrich. A mass will be offered in her memory on November 24th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Anacortes, Wa.
