Members of the Bainbridge Island City Council will meet with their constituents at two more council ward meetings this month.

The Central Ward meeting will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 9 at Bainbridge Island City Hall.

Central Ward representatives Councilwoman Rasham Nassar and Councilwoman Leslie Schneider, plus at-large Councilman Ron Peltier, will attend.

The South Ward meeting is from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15 at Island Center Hall, 8395 Fletcher Bay Road. South Ward representatives Councilwoman Sarah Blossom and will attend, as will Peltier.

Council ward meetings are an opportunity for residents to meet with council members who represent their ward to talk about topics in the neighborhood and the broader community that are of importance to ward residents, according to city officials.

Ward meetings are meant to be less formal than a council meeting, so it allows for more of a conversation between community members and council members.
