Islanders named to Lawrence University dean’s list

Two students from Bainbridge Island have been named to Lawrence University’s 2016-17 dean’s list for maintaining a minimum 3.4 grade point average for the entire academic year.

Micah Kirscher, a 2016 graduate of Bainbridge High School, was recognized for the academic honor. She is the daughter of David Kirscher and Dolores O’Rourke.

Aria Minasian also earned recognition as an outstanding scholar. She is the daughter of Raffi Minasian and Carolyn Burger, and is a 2015 graduate of Bainbridge High School.

Founded in 1847 in Appleton, Wisconsin, Lawrence University is a college of liberal arts and sciences with a nationally recognized conservatory of music, both devoted exclusively to undergraduate education. Lawrence draws its 1,500 students from nearly every state and more than 50 countries.
